WHAT IS THE CODE OF CONDUCT?

The Code of Conduct is the fundamental policy document of Precision Industrial Fasteners. It mentions the policies of the company and rules and regulations which every employee of the company shall comply with. However, the code of conduct is subject to change from time to time, and additional policies can also be issued from time to time for specific roles or locations.

Integration is one of the founding principles of our company. Integrity protects our team, our company, our suppliers, and our clients, enhances performance in business, and helps us differentiate ourselves from our competitors. Our priorities lie with the sustained adherence to ethical trade practices. Though we encourage freedom of expression and open communication, we expect all our employees to follow our Code of Conduct.

PURPOSE OF THE CODE OF CONDUCT

Our Code of Conduct forms the first step for an employee or a potential candidate to get clarity on any queries relating to ethical conduct. It sets forth our core values, shared duties, global commitments, and promises, and general guidance about the Company’s expectations and rules, and regulations.

However, our Code of Conduct cannot address every situation we face at work or outside work.

Therefore, the Code is by no means a replacement for our good and unbiased judgment. We shouldkeep in mind that each of us is responsible for our own actions.

The best choice is always the ethical one.

SCOPE OF THE CODE OF CONDUCT

Our Code of Conduct applies to all our employees, notwithstanding any employment agreement, designation, or location. Our Code of Conduct also applies to third parties acting on the Company’s behalf, such as consultants, agents, suppliers, and others. s

All of us require a healthy and secure work environment to work in the most efficient manner. We give a work environment that is free of coercion, biases, and harassment. Hence, respect, inclusiveness, and shared ethical values are at the heart of our core values. Regardless of your department and designation, all employees shall conform to our uniform opportunity policy in all aspects of the work, from recruitment and selection and performance evaluation to mutual relations. PROTECTION OF COMPANY PROPERTY

It is expected by all employees to treat our Company’s property (material or intangible) with regard and care. Employees must not misuse Company equipment or use it irresponsibly and should regard all kinds of intangible property. This includes trademarks, copyright, and other assets, including patents and intellectual property. Employees should use them only to complete their job duties as per the powers vested in them by the company. Also, the use of our assets for individual profit or any unlawful, unauthorized personal, or unethical purpose is strictly not allowed.

All employees of Precision Industrial Fasteners are expected to ensure that all the communications and statements to customers on behalf of the company should be exact, accurate, complete, true and as per the policies of the company. Employees must compete in an ethical and fair manner for all business opportunities. FINANCIAL INTEGRITY AND ACCOUNTING

It is very important for all employees to maintain accurate, true and complete financial and business records of the company. All employeesshould not engage in any actions that could result in projecting false, incomplete or inaccurate financial information to our Company, our suppliers or our clients. You must make sure that all submissions you make to the Company or the client/supplier on our behalf are complete, true and accurate.

CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION

It is essential for every director, employee, and agent of the Company to protect its confidential information as it is a valuable asset. Confidential information means all non-public information. It also involves all personal information obtained from any source in the course of business. A crucial element of such protection is maintaining the confidentiality of confidential information and other proprietary information of the company.

RESPONSIBLE SOCIAL MEDIA USAGE

Every employee must comply with applicable national and international laws as well as government guidelines governing social media and its usage. When using any form of social media, are expected to comply with this Code of Conduct. You are expected to not disclose any information, which is confidential, about the Company or any of its employees, partners, or its suppliers/clients. We do not encourage you to share and be part of any political or social propaganda on behalf of Precision Industrial Fasteners unless specifically asked to do so by the management.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST

All employees should avoid situations involving a potential or actual conflict of interest so that even a minute doubt about our integrity is not raised. Personal or romantic relationships with a competitor, supplier, client or another employee of the Company mayinfluence your capacity to make use of good judgment on behalf of the Company. This mightresult in a conflict of interest. Personal involvements and romantic liaisons between employees who are in a manager-employee reporting structure may also lead to team management issues and low morale. Such relationships must be revealed to the immediate manager/human resource manageras soon as possible, who may take appropriate corrective action.

Personal Appearance

All employees of Precision Industrial Fastenersshould follow the dress codeand personal appearance guidelines as set by the company, which may change from time to time.

Corruption

Accepting gifts from clients, suppliers, partners, or other stakeholders is restricted. We are strictly against any form of bribery for the benefit of any external or internal party. However, in festive seasons, with the permission of the Human Resource Manager of the company, gifts up to the limit of INR 2,000 can be accepted.

Job Duties And Authority

All employees of Precision Industrial Fastenersmust fulfill their job duties with the highest integrity, ethics, and respect toward clients, management, team members, and the community. Supervisors and managers mustn’t misuse or abuse their power or authority. We expect them to delegate duties to their team members, while also considering their competencies and workload. Likewise, we expect team members to follow the manager/supervisor's instructions and conclude their duties with skill and in a timely manner.

Absenteeism And Tardiness

All employees are expected to follow their schedules. Precision Industrial Fastenersreserves the right to make exceptions for occasions/emergencies that may stop employees from following standard working hours or days as set by the company from time to time. But, generally, we expect all our employees to be punctual when coming to and leaving work. Employees are also expected to keep their Managers/Supervisors/HR Managers informed of their delayed reporting to work or absenteeism from work in advance.

Communication

It is necessary that all the employees of the companybe open to communication with their colleagues, supervisors or team members, and the management of the company.

No employee shall misuse their employment benefits. This refers to,but is not limited to, time off, insurance, facilities, subscriptions, or other benefits and support Precision Industrial Fasteners offers.

Policies

All employees of Precision Industrial Fasteners should read and follow the Company policies as decided by the company from time to time. For any questions or doubts, they should ask their respective managers or contact the Human Resources (HR) Manager.

A GOOD CORPORATE CITIZEN

All employees and partners of Precision Industrial Fasteners are expected to support and respect human rights, be law-abiding responsible citizens and strive to protect the environment in all ways. We encourage our people’s participation in the communities where we work and live.

DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS

Precision Industrial Fasteners reserves the right to take disciplinary action against employees who intentionally or regularly fail to follow the Code of Conduct as set by the company from time to time. The disciplinary action can include one or more of the following depending on the degree of violation:

» Reprimand
» Suspension Or Termination For More Serious Offenses.
» Detraction Of Benefits For A Definite Or Indefinite Time.

Precision Industrial Fasteners may also take legal action as it may deem appropriate in cases of corruption, theft, embezzlement, or other unlawful behaviors.
